The Joker
I sympathise The Joker as he did not have an easy life. As a child, he went through problems and had a drunkard as a father, and it scarred him for life. I think that is why he is now, when he's an adult. Everything that happens to a child will affect the mindset and thoughts of a child. I sympathise him as he did not have a normal childhood like many of us, and he did have an opportunity to cherish the time as a child.
When his wife got pregnant and he needed money to support his to-be family, he ended up quitting his job as an engineer in a chemical plant to work as a stand up comedy, where he failed. He was so desperate for money that he ganged up with two criminals and helped them break into the plant. He should not have done that as there are other sources to find money and should not have gone to the extend of breaking into buildings and robbing. Though when he found out about the news that his wife and his unborn child was dead and he wanted to back out from the plan to break into the chemical plant. Yet he still helped them out. He should not have others pressurising him to do bad things, he should have a mind of his own and should not have others control him.
Yet, one part of me does not sympathise The Joker as he should have common sense that he should not rob and kill. Though he was having a hard time finding money, it did not give him the right to kill other human beings, it utterly inhumane. There are many others who are broke and having a hard time, yet they still made it through and managed to get help. He should have done the same thing too. There is bound to have help somewhere out there. If he has the brains to become such a mastermind, he should have the ability to think and know that what he had done was wrong and should not continue.
Thus, I sympathise The Joker and dont sympathise him at the same time :)
